Getting started

From the server list to your first chunk of land. It takes about five minutes.

Connect

Add a server in Minecraft and use this address:

mc.xgeopol.com

Java Edition: use a recent release. Other versions can often join too, because the server translates between versions.
Bedrock Edition: use the same address. Your name will start with a dot, for example .YourName. That is normal and keeps Java and Bedrock accounts apart.

Be careful

Always type the address yourself or copy it from this site. Do not use addresses from strangers.

Register and log in

X Geopol does not check your account with Mojang, so it protects names with its own login system, AuthX.

On your first visit you are asked to pass a captcha.
Then you set a password. The server shows you the exact command to type.
On every later visit you only log in with that password.

These commands work before you are logged in: /register, /login, /changepassword, /resetpassword.

Keep it safe

Never share your password with anyone, staff included. Staff never need it, and the commands above are all you need to manage it yourself. Use a password you do not use anywhere else.

Accept the rules

A window with the server rules opens. Read the pages with the arrow buttons and press the green ACCEPT button. Until you accept, you cannot chat, drop or pick up items. If you close the window, type /rules to open it again. The full text is on the Rules page.

The welcome tour

After the rules, a short spectator tour flies you over the server, about 10 seconds per stop, so you can see what it is about. When it ends, chat and commands open and you get a starter set of tools.

Optional extras

Resource packs

Some plugins add custom models, for example cannons and cavalry weapons. Accepting the pack makes them look right, but it is not required to play.

Proximity voice

The server has voice chat with a range of 48 blocks. When you ask for it, the server gives you a short-lived link that opens voice in your browser, hosted at voice.xgeopol.com.

Your first hour

Open the live map and see which nations exist.
Join a nation: ask a leader for an invite, then accept it with /nation accept. Or earn money and found your own.
Build inside your nation's land. Outside land is wilderness, where PvP is allowed.
Check your daily streak. It starts counting after five minutes online.
